Our Installation Process

A proven, six-stage process that delivers a clean, durable and professionally finished floor, every time.

Stage 1

Inspection & Assessment

We evaluate the substrate for moisture, cracks, uneven areas, contamination and previous coatings, then factor in property type, traffic and exposure to recommend the right system.

Stage 2

Surface Preparation

Old coatings, paint, adhesive and loose material are removed. Diamond grinding or shot blasting creates a clean, properly profiled surface, with industrial dust extraction throughout.

Stage 3

Concrete Repair & Leveling

Cracks, joints and holes are repaired with suitable resin or cementitious materials. Low or uneven spots are corrected with patching or self-leveling underlayments for a stable base.

Primer Application

Concrete polishing

Our Grind & Polish Process

Polished concrete is built through progressively finer diamond tooling, densifiers and sealers. Here are the key stages we follow to reach a durable, high-gloss finish.

Step 1

Hardness & Scratch Test

We test the concrete’s surface hardness (using the Mohs scale) to choose the right diamond tooling and grit sequence for your floor.

Step 2

Rough Grind

Coarse metal-bond diamonds (starting around a 30-grit puck) remove the top layer, level the slab and expose aggregate for an even base.

Step 3

Repair & Edges

We fill holes and imperfections (Ardex where needed) and finish edges and corners with specialized tools so they match the main floor.

Step 4

Densify

A chemical densifier penetrates the concrete and hardens it, reducing porosity and improving stain and abrasion resistance before finer polishing.

Step 5

Progressive Polish

We work up through finer resin grits (100, 200, 400, 800 and up to 1500) until the floor reaches the sheen and clarity you want.

Step 6

Seal & Burnish

A protective sealer guards against stains and wear, then a high-speed burnish brings up a final, lasting high-gloss shine.
